Welcome to RETROVELOPROJECTS, we specialise in building to order quality bespoke classic European and British road bikes from the 1970s to the 90’s.
We have a large selection of steel and aluminium frames, wheels, and components for you to choose from, we are happy to discuss your specific requirements and build you that bling velo project; our aim is to provide a new build experience whilst using components that can often be 20/50 years old.
Whilst we specialise in bespoke bikes, we also provide a renovation service on bikes of a certain period. If you are building your own classic bike, we can often help source and supply components that can help compete your build.
We have highlighted some of the work we have done in 2021 the popularity of owning and riding classic steel continues to grow; we are keen cyclists ourselves we understand how different the ride is between modern carbon and steel.
Steel is all about riding a piece of history, unique individual frames either with the original patina or professionally restored new paint new chrome, they are meant to be enjoyed on nice sunny days with fellow enthusiasts, their racing days are over, however, the ride experience will never let you down.

What a honour to spend the morning with a true gentleman and a legend from the World of Track Cycling, Geoff Cooke.
Next summer, Geoff will celebrate his 80th birthday and has the physique and fitness of someone 50 years younger.
Still riding his bike most days and competing at the top level.
Geoff is a former Great Britain Olympian cyclist and a multiple Masters World Track Champion. He is the current World Champion and proud owner of numerous Rainbow Jersey's.
Lovely gesture from the recent visit to our associates On Yer Bike shop of Mansfield Woodhouse by Geoff Cooke. Geoff gave the Rainbow Jersey he had won at the recent World Master's Track Championships to the shop. So we at Retroveloprojects had the jersey framed and presented it to the shop owner, Craig Edwards. The jersey is now displayed in the shop window for all to see.
